Competitive, Community-DRIVEN, Player-First.
The Atlanta Copperheads 13U are a community-based, development-focused travel baseball team rooted in Atlanta’s intown neighborhoods. We compete at the A and AA levels, providing a competitive environment while keeping the experience accessible, balanced, and player-first.
Founded by Kevin Goldberg and Bryan Cascarano, both former DHYS Devil All-Star coaches, the Copperheads were built with a clear philosophy: develop complete baseball players without the burnout, rigidity, or excessive cost that often comes with travel baseball.
The Atlanta Copperheads are designed for families who want serious development, thoughtful coaching, and a positive team environment; all while competing against strong regional competition.
This is more than a travel team. It’s a place to grow, compete, and love the game the right way.
Our program emphasizes:
Player development over early specialization: Athletes rotate through multiple positions to build well-rounded skill sets.
Strong fundamentals and baseball IQ: Teaching the why behind the game, not just the mechanics.
Competitive tournaments at a reasonable cost: Families shouldn’t have to choose between quality baseball and affordability.
Community and accountability: A team culture that values effort, respect, and growth on and off the field.
